This dreaded day has come again,
Consumed with guilt, grief and pain.
It’s been nineteen years since I last saw you,
I should have done more, you needed me to.
I miss you so much with each year that goes by,
With an ache in my heart, and tears in my eye.
I’m lucky I’ve got so many happy memories, not just sad,
I am so happy that I got to share them with you Dad.
This candle was first lit on the 18th of September 2017 and will burn for 93 years 4 months and 3 days.
